1. Acceptance
By using mushroomtelescope.com you agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
2. Who we are
Mushroom Telescope is an independent editorial site about smartphone video, operated by Graphic Packaging International, LLC., 1500 Riveredge Pkwy Ste 100, Atlanta, GA 30328, United States. Contact: hello@mushroomtelescope.com, phone +1-770-240-7200.
3. What the site provides
We publish free-to-read articles and illustrations about recording and editing video on phones. We do not sell products or services through this site, we do not take payments, and there are no user accounts. The newsletter form is not currently connected and does not collect anything; the contact form only opens your own email app.
4. Acceptable use
You are welcome to read, print and share links to our pages for personal or educational use. You must not:
- republish substantial parts of our text or graphics without written permission;
- scrape, mirror or bulk-download the site without written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems it runs on;
- interfere with the site's normal operation, for example with automated request floods;
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass, mislead or impersonate others.
Short quotations with a link back to the source page are fine without asking.
5. Intellectual property
The text, layout, illustrations and logo of this site belong to the operator or are used under licence. Photographs are used under the Pexels Licence, and icon shapes are adapted from open-source icon sets under their permissive licences. Third-party brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only for identification.
6. Newsletter
The newsletter is not yet active. If it launches, subscribing will be optional, every email will include an unsubscribe link, and we will update our Privacy Policy before any address is collected.
7. Third-party services and links
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts and may link to external websites. We do not control those services or sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
8. No professional advice
Our content is general information. It is not professional, technical, legal or purchasing advice. Device features and software change frequently; always check your manufacturer's documentation. See our Disclaimer for more.
9. No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, recordings, time or opportunity, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Changes and availability
We may change, update or remove any part of the site at any time. We try to keep page addresses stable and to note substantial revisions on the page.
12. Copyright concerns
If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, email hello@mushroomtelescope.com with details of the work, the page address and your contact information. We will review it promptly and remove material where the complaint is valid.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
